About Pattern Fantastique

Pattern Fantastique has been based between Melbourne, Australia and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and is now working from sun-soaked Fremantle, Western Australia.

After more than a decade of travelling and exclusively publishing sewing patterns,  Nita-Jane has expanded the studio practice to include a range of creative and technical services.

Studio services include fashion and interiors product development, patternmaking (digital and hard copy), grading, textile print repeat design, and made-to-order products from the Pattern Fantastique range.

I work with fashion brands, interior and exterior designers, landscapers, and artists. Previous clients include Alpha 60, Vixen, TLwood, Nicola, artists David Rosetsky and Fiona Abicare.

Pattern Fantastique designs and publishes unconventional sewing patterns for the modern maker. Patterns are available through selected independent textile merchants worldwide and to stockists via the Faire wholesale marketplace.
